In a sporting but competitive game, played in good conditions at the Pingles, both sides had chances early on, with the game swaying one way then the other.

It was not until stoppage time at the end of the first half that the break through came, with Brett Ward netting from 10 yards to put FC Gallery in front.

Both teams came came close in the second half, but Division Five Champions elect effectively made the tie safe on 56 minutes when a shot from Matthew Watson was deflected past the Jailhouse keeper
