Before a crowd of 250, both side struggled to settle on a slick Bermuda pitch. The first half was short on chances and it was 0-0 at half time.  The games first goal came on 70 minutes when Hartshills Lee Molineaux headed in on the far post.  With the game nearing 90 minutes, Haunchwood were awarded a penalty which was slotted home by Steve Neal, to take the game into extra time.  A 25 yard shot from Louis O'Neill won the cup for Hartshill.
